The Varsity and Junior Varsity Vikings basketball team held their home tournament this past weekend at the ship.
With an undermanned squad on Saturday, the JV's finished the tournament 4th overall and competed very hard the entire tournament.
On the varsity side, the Vikings advanced to play in the finals after making short work of the 7th ranked Cochrane cobras in the semis. In the finals, the boys met the provincially ranked 4th place Camrose Trojans and were victorious winning in a tight 4 point contest. Congratulations to the boys for winning their home tournament for the 3rd consecutive season and maintaining the 2nd provincial seed.
Thanks also to all the staff, students, and parent volunteers who showed their support to make the tournament a great success!
