Leadership for life will help students learn important skills in regards to being strong leaders both in their own lives, the school and their community.  The course will involve a great deal of group work and projects to cover topics such as Leadership Styles and Development, Group Work/Team Work skills, Community Service, and Habits for Highly Effective Teens.  We look at team building, exploring and building on our own abilities and citizenship.  We will help students learn public speaking, presentation skills, communication in person, video and the written language, and interpersonal management.  We will look at and volunteerism and its benefits.  There is an optional Leadership Conference that will be held during the semester that we would encourage students to attend.  There will be the cost of conference and transportation for trip.  This course if fun, full of challenges and really gives students skills that they can use throughout their lifetime.
