Coming Attractions : 2011-2012

Head Start Clinic:

For beginning band students Saturday September 10, St. Mary's School 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Professional musicians from Medicine Hat and the University of Lethbridge will be teaching beginning students to assemble, care for and play their chosen band instrument. This is a wonderful opportunity to get a head start from specialists. There will be a fifteen dollar charge which includes a pizza lunch. Please register with Mr. Ward by Thursday September 8 walk in registrations will be accepted only if there is space.

125th Anniversary Gala Concert

Medicine Hat School District 76 is celebrating its 125 anniversary this year! There will be a gala concert on Wednesday May 2, 2012 at the Cypress Center. Senior bands from Crescent Heights High School and Medicine Hat High School will be combining to participate in this historic event.

Next CHHS BAND PARENTS COMMITTEE meeting Wednesday, January 18th at 7:00 pm in the band room

This is the Band Parents Committee's annual general meeting. Please consider assisting with the executive this year. It is a great group of people who do so much for our band program.

There will also be discussion and information about the Paris/Harrogate/London trip.

All parents/guardians of students registered in a band program at CHHS are members of the Band Parents Committee and are welcome at the monthly meetings.
